Meet a Carter Scholar!
Morgan Pryor is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Morgan said, “I want to be a Carter Scholar because I have a passion for doing scientific research in the infectious disease field in hopes of putting a stop to the next Coronavirus or solving cold cases through the use of DNA/genealogy. Receiving this scholarship award will help me achieve this goal.”
Morgan also said, “I am studying biology, which is a vast field that I have yet to fully tap into. Currently, I have a minimal amount of student loans and hope to not accumulate more as an undergraduate. Any amount of money that I receive would help alleviate the cost of earning a college degree.”
Morgan is doing it and doing it big! We are proud of her!
