Meet a Carter Scholar!
Tarek Kassim graduated from Glen Allen High School in Virginia in June 2022. Beginning in fall 2022, he will be a freshman at Richard Bland Community College.
When asked how financial support from Carter Scholars Inc. would help him to achieve his academic goals, Tarek said, “It will allow me to achieve my long-term goal of becoming an independent Black man who is a functioning member of our society.”
